The Taps Pack is a ready-made library of 271 vetted sources for Neurowire, grouped into 24 themes. Instead of hunting down RSS and Atom URLs one by one, you point Neurowire at a theme and get a curated feed immediately. It’s the curation layer that sets up the Neurowire SaaS, which we’ll announce soon.

What a “tap” is

A tap is a single trusted source: a blog, an RSS feed, an Atom feed. In Neurowire you bundle taps into meshes, and meshes into constructs. The hard part was never the plumbing, it was knowing which sources are worth following in the first place. The Taps Pack answers that: a hand-picked starting set so a new feed is one theme away, not an afternoon of link-hunting.

The 24 themes

271 taps, spanning frontier tech through culture, science, and the things people actually read for fun.

Why a curated pack matters

A feed reader is only as good as what you put into it. Algorithmic timelines decide for you; an empty reader makes you do all the work. The Taps Pack is the middle path: you choose the themes, we’ve done the vetting. Every tap is a real, stable source, organised so the feed reads coherently instead of as noise.

Ahead of the SaaS

The Taps Pack is deliberately the first piece. The upcoming Neurowire SaaS builds on exactly this curation: themes you can subscribe to, mix into meshes, and publish, without self-hosting anything. Shipping the pack first means the hosted product launches with a library worth reading on day one. Announcement coming soon.

Neurowire stays open source. See the docs launch for the package layout, or the project page for the short version.
